Personally, for my family conserving water is a big deal and we do a little bit extra every day to conserve as much water as we can.  We take quick showers, don’t let the water run while we are brushing our teeth and when I do dishes, instead of letting the water run down the drain waiting for it to warm up, I bring in a watering can and fill that with water for my plants while I wait for the water to get hot.  Doing these little things every day will make a huge impact!  Even though my daughter is only one year old, we will be teaching her how important it is to conserve water, especially since California is in a drought.
