Hello December!- My favorite Christmas Movies!

I cannot believe today is already the first day of December and my due date month!  I think being pregnant makes it seem like the year goes by WAY faster then normal; especially with me doing my weekly updates.

To kick off the month of December I wanted to do a post about my most favorite Christmas Movies!  These are in no particular order but they are my go-to holiday time movies.

  1. “Elf”

I’m not a big fan at all of Will Ferrell movies, actually I don’t think there are any other Will Ferrell movies that I actually like but Elf is HILARIOUS.  I love it!

2. “The Nightmare Before Christmas”

Tim Burton is a genius.  This movie is a classic in my opinion (even though its from the 90’s).  I love the artwork, the story line, the characters and the music!

3.”The Santa Clause”

Another 90’s Christmas movie, this one reminds me of my childhood.  My sister and I used to watch this movie on repeat for days on end.  Im not quite sure exactly what drew us into this movie but we LOVE it.  This is a Christmas movie I watch every single year.  Now, the sequels….not exactly the best movies in my opinion but they aren’t terrible!

4. Dr. Seuss “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”

They couldn’t have cast a better Grinch.  Jim Carrey is AMAZING as the grinch.  I love, love, love this movie!  It’s full of comedy, great characters, holiday spirit and sticks to the original story line.

5. “Christmas with the Kranks”

I have to admit that I am guilty of watching this movie year-round.  It’s so funny and I love the story!!  If you haven’t seen it, definitely put this on your Christmas movie’s tow watch list!

6. “Mickey’s Christmas Carol”

Another classic (1983) that my sister and I used to watch all the time.  This is a GREAT Christmas movie and it follows along the story of “A Christmas Carol” with a great Disney twist!

7. “Rudolf the red nose Reindeer”, “Frosty the Snowman” and the rest of the classics!

You know what ones I’m talking about.  Now, THESE are real Christmas classics.  I remember sitting at my Grandparents house a a kid and watching all these movies with my sister.

There are a bunch of other great Christmas movies out there, but these are my top most favorites!  What Christmas movies are your favorites?  Comment below so I can add them on my “Christmas movies to watch ” list!

Thanks for reading!

XOXO
Love Always,
Miyuki Angel
