How I’m not buying maternity clothes yet…and hope not to!

Yesterday I officially hit the 12 week mark! Woo Hoo!  In my last post I was saying how my clothes already don’t fit me…yeah, they definitely don’t fit me any more.  I have one pair of shorts that was always to big on me so I never wore them and they are almost to  small for me now.  Pretty much anything that is even a little snug on my stomach bugs me and I can’t wear it.  None of my pants fit but luckily it is super hot here already and I won’t have to worry about pants.  Even most of my dresses don’t fit me well anymore…super bummed!  I’m only 12 weeks so I don’t want to buy maternity clothes yet and it doesn’t make any sense to buy regular clothes just a size or 2 bigger *the struggle!*  So hubby and I went on a mission last Sunday to find regular clothes that will fit me now, when I’m a little bit bigger and even post baby.  After trying on a bunch of clothes I really figured out what will fit me and my body best and I’m going to share it with all of you.
We were in a bit of a time crunch so we only hit up Forever 21 and I found 4 dresses that will hopefully fit me through out the Summer comfortably!

First up is this super comfy beautiful grey dress with the pink sheer over it.  It can be dressed up or dressed down.  The bust line is perfect and doesn’t go across my stomach at all, I imagine I will be able to wear this for a while.  The black dress below it is actually the same dress just in black with black sheer over it.  These babies were only $14.90 each! This really pretty floral print dress doesn’t have a bust line and I think thats what helps make it so comfy and its a really stretchy material.  I love that the straps are adjustable so if I need to I can make them longer.  This is a great Summer time dress!  This beauty was only $12.90!DSC_1463

This dress is the most comfortable out of all of the new dresses I bought.  there is no bust line and it is a super, super loose knit so it is incredibly comfortable!  It’s a great length so Ill be able to wear this all Summer for sure.  I only paid $12.90!DSC_1464

Although it’s only 4 dresses, it’s a great start!  This weekend hubby and I are hitting the mall again to see what else we can find.  Im excited for these clothes because unlike maternity clothes I won’t only be wearing these while pregnant, they will be great post baby and even after I get my pre-pregnancy body back!
For a few days there I was feeling a little upset because literally none of my clothes fit me anymore, such a bummer.  So this really made me feel better!  YAY for not buying maternity clothes yet and YAY for still buying “normal” clothes!

…lets see how long I can keep this up!
