Orange Mint-Propagating

Since I have bought and planted my Orange mint, it has doubled in size!  I haven’t used it yet for baking or cooking or for in drinks yet so I thought I would try Propagating it!

Orange mintI have never propagated a plant before so I researched it a bit on google and decided to take a stab at it!  I cut the mint about 4-5 inches down and stuck them in water.  I read to change the water every three days and in two to three weeks the clippings will have roots!

I will keep you guys updated!

Happy Gardening!

Love Always,

Miyuki Angel

  1. It totally works! I do that to my flowers all the time. I love it cus I can spread the pretty flowers throughout my yard without spending money on more. 😉 I hadn’t changed out the water that often tho, that’s a good tip ill have to try that next time I do it.

    1. Hey Tash, thanks for commenting! You can propagate flowers?! AWESOME! I will have to try it out! I actually just did a new post updating the progress of the Orange Mint! It has done amazing! I can’t wait to plant them in soil! Thanks for reading! xoxo
