Although these are not the most healthy of cookies, they are SO delicious and fairly easy to make!
** NO-BAKE COOKIES **
2 cups Sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons baking coco
1/2 cup milk
3 cups Oats (not instant )
1/2 stick butter (optional)
1/2 OR 1 cup Peanut butter (i’ll explain the “OR”)
2 tablespoons Vanilla
and a long sheet of wax paper, foil will work fine as well.
Combine well in a medium-large sauce pan the Sugar, salt, and baking coco
Add the milk and butter (IF you don’t want to use butter then use 1 cup of peanut butter at the end, if you use butter then only use 1/2 peanut butter at end)
Bring to a RAPID boil, stir constantly and BOIL exactly 2 minutes.
After 2 minutes are up remove from heat and VERY QUICKLY ADD peanut butter, Oats and Vanilla + Stir Well
Drop onto wax paper, be careful the mixture will be hot, but it will also harden fast!!!
let cool (about 30 min), then ENJOY!
You can add your own twist to them. At the stage when you are adding the oats you can add any trail mix, nuts, chocolate chips or anything else you can think of to it!
I absolutely LOVE these cookies, they are SO addicting and I love the texture and taste you get from the oats!
